Our Story

The concept of “Sri Lanka INO Kids” born in 2018. Academy of Robotics was established in 2022 with a government business registration. This academy is a professional platform for running robotics courses on certificate awarding in Sri Lanka.

Classes were first started for a few students and so far we have been able to educate hundreds of students including international students from various region in the world. Our main purpose is impart knowledge.

We offer a wide range of robotics courses. We mainly focus on Arduino, Python, IoT (Magicblocks.io), MicroPython, Scratch (MagicCode) and other programming languages.

We are committed to providing unique educational and hands-on experiences to everyone interested in learning the highest quality robotics, computer skills, computer languages and coding.

Not necessary. In every program or project, the knowledge related to computer programming is given to the children so that they can learn very simply and easily, and in addition to the Sinhala language, we use the English language in all the teaching.

It varies from course to course and all courses are conducted in the range of Rs.3000 to Rs.5000. The Academy of Robotics has not increased these courses for several years and we will remain within the range of normal class fees.

In making payment for foreign students Rs.2500 will be charged for one session.

Yes. With the intervention of the Academy of Robotics, a robot kit will be given free of charge to the student who scores the highest marks in the course through various foundations and the second highest scorer will be given a 50% discount to complete the next phase.

The time frames will vary from course to course as follows.

  • 2 months | Coding for kids (Learn Coding – For Grades 3 – 5 Students)
  • 4 months | Certificate in Robotics for Kids with Magicbit (Learn STEM Robots – For Grades 3 – 6 Students)
  • 4 months | Certificate in Robotics with Arduino Programming (Robots to Build with Arduino – For Grade 6+ Students)
  • 4 months | Certificate in Advanced Robotics (Talking AI Robots with Python – For Grade 7+ Students)
  • 4 months | Certificate in Master Robotics (IOT Robots and MicroPython – For Grade 7+ Students)
  • 3 months | Certificate in AI with Python (Making AI talking bots – For Grade 7+ Students)

You can join any number of students as you wish and when joining from the same family, the second child will be charged 50% of the class fee. There is no limit to this.

Students can join from third grade (8 years old) to any grade. Any person who wants to learn programming languages and anyone who wants to learn robotics can join and learn this.

  • Being able to participate and win in international, all island, inter-school robotics and coding competitions.
  • To develop the creativity needed by children to make new innovations.
  • Being a great help to get the basic knowledge needed for further education.
  • Being able to earn a very high monthly salary while being employed.
  • According to the global job ranking, Software and Computer Programming fields have the highest employment trend.

Yes. You can also get instructions and knowledge on how to do projects from scratch for all units/projects through recorded videos.

At the end of each course you will be awarded a digital certificate indicating the number of points you have achieved.

Yes. You must have a Gmail email account to register for all our courses.


Any child aged 13 or under can set up the account through Gmail. For this, you can select the create an account for my child option from the Gmail email creation platform. If a child is 13 years of age or older, the account can be set up in the normal way.

All teaching will be done using online software called Google Meets and Google Classroom. All projects are visualized live using multiple video cameras and any issue related to the subject can be addressed instantly. And all exams will be conducted using Google Classroom.

Yes. All our theory tutorials are designed to be easy and simple to read and understand. Our tutorials are designed in a variety of colors using Adobe InDesign.

Any child with a mobile phone and a computer with a basic internet connection can join the Academy of Robotics.
