Highest award in Sri Lanka

This student, who came to me to learn robotics from grade 6, has won the 1st place of junior category in the YCS competition 2023.

His design skills are highly valued, and this award was presented for SMART Wheelchair which he designed himself.

Best award in India

This student named Thewmitha, who participated in the world's largest robot competition called Technoxian, received high recognition there.

Details of the Robotics Competition

It is a well-known fact that in the era of rapidly developing technology, the world is looking for ways to approach robotic technology. As a result, various organizations have arranged to hold robotics competitions and exhibitions with the aim of inspiring the next generation of children to meet the challenges of the future world of work by acquiring knowledge. Knowledge related to robotics technology and foster attitudes, practical skills, techniques and enhance their artistic talents.

National Level Young Computer Scientist Competition (YCS)

The Young Computer Scientist Competition (YCS) encourages youngsters to develop their talents and be recognized for their ideas. This competition is organized by FITIS (Federation of Information Technology Industry of Sri Lanka) with the Ministry of Education and the support of the University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC)

CYBOTS Robotics Battle 2024, a thrilling competition open to university and school categories. In school category competition, teams design and build autonomous robots that must navigate a complex track, following a black line while performing tasks like picking up and placing objects at designated points.  This event is organized by the IT Society of National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) in Kandy.
